Jim Schofield profile

About Me:

I love solving problems with people. I'm looking for a position that will involve challenges and opportunity to create beautiful interfaces.

I'm a self taught coder that previously taught math and science in high school and college. I'm a lover of learning in general, and I get obsessive about perfecting my hobbies and skills.

Key Strengths:

CSS Architect and HTML Expert: I am experienced and comfortable styling complex, sophistocated, and accessible elements in a custom CSS framework. I'm always learning recent CSS advances like CSS grid, CSS variables, and Houdini.

Javascript: I am at home in any Javascript framework. I have designed large applications in Vue and React, and I'm always learning the best practices to make code readable and maintainable. You will find I often re-engineer things in vanilla js to see how they tick

Accessibility-minded: I am experienced developing components and applications that meet WCAG or other accessibility requirements.
